June 7, 2012:  DirectEmployers has enhanced .JOBS Microsites, the leading branded career microsite solution, to provide more relevant results for veterans and returning armed services members. Employers can now map specific categories of jobs to military job classifications including Army and Marine MOS codes, Air Force AFWSC codes and Navy and Coast Guard ratings.

The new system allows employers to make jobs available based on a military career description. According to DirectEmployers Vice President of Product Development Rick Wehrle, “There are very few civilian infantry jobs, but veteran infantrymen make outstanding employers. Our new feature lets the employers map veterans to specific jobs so that when a former infantryman searches, they find that customer service or manufacturing job.”
