Version 4.2.1 - 10 May 2012

Version Notes

This release was a maintenance and optimization release for the new import engine. It also included some admin and import updates that have long been needed. Most notable is the forced refreshing of jobs every time they are imported. This has a twofold effect of solving the problem with jobs being stale or expired on the site and improving the accuracy of job imports. It also eliminates many issues that were occasionally preventing a job from being indexed and displayed.

Major Modifications

Force refresh of Jobs during import
All jobs are now refreshed at import. This prevents jobs from being stale and, in most cases, from expiring. This also renders unnecessary the need to compare checksums with with the feed, as this modification achieves the same result with less processing overhead.

Nation display for US jobs without a state
Jobs without a state that are based in the USA will now display “United States” as their location. Previously, this was left blank, which created odd effects in the UI layout.

Job Count on View All Jobs Link
The view all jobs link now includes the total job count for the site.
