Diversity is a real problem in computer engineering and computer science related careers. DirectEmployers Foundation decided to do something about the problem by sponsoring the first ever Indianapolis Python Workshop for Women and their Friends. The event was a resounding success with over 20 participants. Event organizer Catherine Devlin has a great blog post about the event.
